Be Blessed!

Well it is nearing the end of January and what a blessing this new year has been thus far. We are so very blessed to be back home and have two wonderful children. January has been quite cold and dark, however, we have taken advantage of the few warm days (at least 15 above) that we've had. We've gone sledding and just had lots of fun playing in all the snow. It's a very snowy year...there's tons of it everywhere!

David is enjoying being back at the church and in full swing of everything. He's constantly recruiting people to work with the children at First Assembly, and he actually finds great joy in doing this. Pastor Paul has had him teach in the Adult service on Sundays and Wednesday nights several times in the past couple of months. David really loves teaching. He has completed his 8 year military duty as of January 14th. We breath a sigh of relief that he did not get called to go overseas.
I am doing well and loving life with my 2 children. They bring me great satisfaction and keep me moving. I am enjoying a ladies Bible study that I go to every Friday. It's great to meet with other women and share the joys and struggles of motherhood. David and I are also on a journey to lose some weight and start eating healthy and exercising and so far we've both lost 10 lbs in less than a month. It's been great!
Zion is growing more and more into a little boy every day. He began his speech therapy this week and and is enjoying it. He's having lots of fun being kept busy. He absolutely loves going to church. In fact, I can't even say the word "church" unless we are ready to go, cause he starts running out the door. He and Anna have started interacting a little bit and it is just so adorable! He plays Patty Cake with her and peek a boo and she just laughs! She grins really big everytime he comes around.
Anna is sleeping through the night and on a really awesome schedule. I didn't even have to train this one, she just figured it out on her own. We're loving life right now...it's amazing what sleep does for the body. :D

We are optimistically looking forward to what this year has to offer. We know that God is going to do some awesome things this year and we are ready for it. May God richly bless you and your family this year in every way imaginable.
